Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Physiotherapy Hespeler Road. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas for improvement and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to educate and empower individuals to achieve their goals and maximize their functional abilities.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans that address clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs, and promote independence and participation in meaningful activities.
- Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Participate in case conferences and case management to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy students and contribute to the development of the next generation of healthcare professionals.
- Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
- Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
