About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Charles Joseph Plastering LTD. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and detailed estimates for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Cost Management
    • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
    • Conduct economic feasibility studies and provide preliminary estimates for proposed projects
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Develop and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
    • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
  • Financial Management
    • Set up and maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems
    • Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field
