We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Charles Joseph Plastering LTD.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects. This will involve analyzing tender documents, evaluating costs, and providing economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
- Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
- Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
- Advise on tendering procedures and analyze tenders to recommend awards
- Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems to track project expenses
- Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates and project timelines
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- 30 to 40 hours per week
