Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Charles Joseph Plastering LTD. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
  • Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
  • Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
  • Advise on tendering procedures and analyze tenders to recommend awards
  • Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems to track project expenses
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates and timely project completion
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
