About the Role:
In the position of Electrical Assembly Labourer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that are essential to our operations. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the workflow and supporting our assembly team.

Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Producing labels (lamacoid and stainless steel)
  • Conducting weekly inventory assessments and coordinating orders for shop supplies
  • Reviewing and managing cleaning and painting supply inventory
  • Performing thorough housekeeping duties
  • Executing wire, DIN, and Ground Bar cuttings, while identifying opportunities for internal recycling of scrap materials
  • Organizing surplus parts inventory
  • Assisting with shipping preparation, including quality assurance and cleaning of cabinets
  • Facilitating communication between electrical assembly technicians and other departments
  • Supporting various ad-hoc tasks that enhance the efficiency of the fabrication shop

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an industrial shop or shipping/warehouse setting
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality assurance practices
  • Proficiency in computer usage
  • Familiarity with basic shop tools
  • Experience operating forklifts
