The Role

We are seeking an Electrical Assembly Labourer to join our team. As an Electrical Assembly Labourer, you will be responsible for:

  • Printing labels (lamacoid and stainless steel)
  • Conducting weekly inventory counts and coordinating orders for shop consumables
  • Reviewing and maintaining cleaning and painting supply draws
  • Performing deeper housekeeping tasks
  • Cutting wires, DIN cuttings, Ground Bar cuttings, and reviewing opportunities for recycling scrap internally
  • Organizing leftover parts inventory
  • Assisting with shipping preparation, QA/QC, and taking pictures of cabinets
  • Communicating with electrical assembly technicians and other departments
  • Supporting ad-hoc tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of the fabrication shop

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an industrial shop or shipping/warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality assurance
  • Computer literacy
  • Competency with basic shop tools
  • Experience working with forklifts
