About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at MKD Electrical. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic systems, including prototypes and production-ready products.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems to ensure they meet specifications and industry standards.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Assist in the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems, including setting up and operating specialized test equipment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete work orders, test reports, and maintenance records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of electrical and electronic systems.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Electrical Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The role will involve a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as required.
