Position: Telecommunications Equipment Technician

Company: Exoon Enterprises Inc

Location: Brampton, ON

Salary: $32.10 per hour

Employment Type: Full-time, Term or Contract

Work Schedule: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Shift, Weekend

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and identify faults in telecommunications equipment and make necessary adjustments, replacements, or repairs.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the operational efficiency of telecommunications devices.
  • Install, organize, remove, and maintain telephone systems, wiring, and related hardware.
  • Repair or substitute defective telecommunications equipment as required.
  • Analyze testing outcomes and modify, change, or repair switching systems, networks, and associated software.
  • Complete and maintain detailed service and testing reports.
  • Determine the nature, cause, and location of technical issues.
  • Initiate the dispatch of appropriate repair personnel when necessary.
  • Install electromechanical, analog, and digital trunking systems, circuits, and equipment in telecommunications facilities.
Qualifications

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a related field

Languages

English
