Job Summary

Meteor Telecommunications Inc. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a key member of our installation and maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our telecommunications network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to identify and resolve issues
  • Repair and maintain telecommunications equipment, including cable signals and network infrastructure
  • Analyze test results and adjust or replace equipment as needed
  • Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment
  • Work at heights, climbing poles and ladders to access and maintain equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and confined spaces
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

As a Telecommunications Technician with Meteor Telecommunications Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction. You will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and confined spaces, and may be required to work at heights.
