Job Summary

Meteor Telecommunications Inc. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment
  • Repair cable signals and diagnose equipment faults
  • Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures
  • Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Ability to work outdoors and in confined spaces
  • Ability to climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures
Work Environment

As a Telecommunications Technician, you will work in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in confined spaces. You will be required to climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures.
