About the HR Strategic Partner Role

The HR Strategic Partner serves as a key advisor and collaborator to the local business, employing a consultative approach to drive solutions and advocate for the team. This role emphasizes strategic focus areas, including compensation, growth planning, recruitment and retention, career development, employee relations, performance management, and the ongoing enhancement of people programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic advisor on all people-centric best practices and initiatives related to operations, labor management, and organizational priorities.
  • Develop and refine policies to ensure optimal and consistent operations across facilities, including attendance guidelines, employee handbooks, security protocols, management training, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proactively identify business needs and respond swiftly and effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with local leadership to align business objectives with the People strategy.
  • Mentor and guide local People Operations Generalists as empowered representatives for local issues and concerns.
  • Provide counsel to People Operations Generalists on sensitive work-related matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and interpretation of company policies.
  • Advise local leadership on best practices for utilizing our tools and people processes to enhance employee performance and ensure compliance with legal standards.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends and proactively propose solutions that align with business goals.
  • Organize and facilitate employee events to foster an inclusive and engaging workplace environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3-7 years of experience in Human Resources, emphasizing business partnership, talent management, or employee relations.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools, including HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Rippling) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic HR roles within a Supply Chain or Logistics organization.
  • Strong skills in HR metrics, data analysis, and leveraging insights to inform decision-making.
  • Experience leading HR projects and initiatives, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
