As a Strategic Partner Relationship Manager, you will be a vital member of the LifeWorks Growth and Strategic Partnerships team, tasked with nurturing and developing essential strategic alliances. Collaborate with various business units and product teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities, including potential cross-selling initiatives throughout our extensive organization. Our mission is to ensure that our partners receive the necessary support to effectively promote our solutions, helping them achieve their business goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ a consultative approach to collaborate with strategic partners, crafting mutually beneficial plans that align with their primary objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop a strategy for regular engagement with strategic partners, fostering innovation and enhancing the overall partnership.
  • Work closely with sales teams and heads of strategic partnerships to ensure collaboration across business units, driving product integration within the LifeWorks partner ecosystem.
  • Utilize all product and service offerings from LifeWorks, along with broader partner solutions, to create a comprehensive growth strategy that addresses partner needs and objectives.
  • Safeguard existing revenue by ensuring partner satisfaction, adding value, and occasionally leading the renewal process.
  • Adhere to a governance framework and consistently report partnership outcomes to leadership.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the partner's purchasing process and effectively engage in product development and budgeting cycles.
  • Cultivate relationships with potential new partners, nurturing sales opportunities and navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.

Relationship Management:

  • Cultivates connections at all levels within partner organizations, engaging executives and expanding relationships across their operations.
  • Engages stakeholders, including influencers, effectively.
  • Develops strategies for managing national relationships.
  • Manages internal relationships across business lines to execute partner strategies effectively.

Internal Team Mobilization:

  • Leads all aspects of partner strategy through active management of an account plan, ensuring engagement from all internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitates an integrated approach to partner delivery, ensuring comprehensive understanding across delivery areas.
  • Inspires and motivates internal teams to achieve high levels of partner satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
  • Supports and holds internal teams accountable for resolving service delivery issues as they arise.

Leveraging LifeWorks Capabilities:

  • Establishes two-way communication with partners to identify market trends, understand gaps, and test new solutions.
  • Mobilizes the right expertise and capabilities from across the organization to deliver tailored solutions to partners.
  • Designs solutions that integrate all LifeWorks services, solutions, and technological capabilities.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Business experience that includes managing and supporting complex partnerships.
  • Experience in developing channel or reseller sales models.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian insurance industry, benefit plans, and mental health landscape is essential.
  • Familiarity with LifeWorks solutions and capabilities is advantageous.
  • Consulting or HR administration/outsourcing experience is a plus.
