Vista Projects Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems administration, with a proven track record of managing complex IT infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

IT Systems Administration:
Ensure the reliable operation of IT systems, including servers, networking hardware, operating systems, software applications, and telecommunication links. Regularly perform system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide advanced technical support for both hardware and software issues that arise. Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex technical issues and ensure minimal downtime.

Backup and Recovery:
Manage backup procedures and disaster recovery operations to ensure data preservation. Test backup and recovery plans regularly to ensure system resilience.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Generate reports on system performance, incident resolutions, and security breaches, contributing to continuous improvement.

Communication and Collaboration:
Work closely with the IT team, participating in planning and executing IT projects. Communicate effectively with non-technical staff to assist with IT-related issues and provide training when necessary.

Requirements:
At least 7 years of experience in IT systems administration, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge and hands-on expertise in managing IT infrastructure. Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or similar are highly regarded.

Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals, or similar. Solid understanding of network infrastructure, operating systems, virtualization technologies, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively articulating technical guidance and instructions to users of varying technical understanding.
