We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join our team at Discovery Village at the West End – IL. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Linux infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Linux-based solutions to meet the needs of our organization
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Linux systems with other technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Linux administration and engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Linux distributions, including Red Hat and Ubuntu
  • Experience with containerization platforms, such as Docker
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, including Bash and Python
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
