We are seeking an experienced Evaluation Manager to join our Cancer Strategy and Innovation team at the Canadian Cancer Society. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of evaluations for projects that support decision-making and demonstrate program impact.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning and execution of evaluation projects, including developing evaluation frameworks, selecting data collection tools, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
- Procure and direct the work of evaluation consultants, including contract negotiation and management.
- Maintain valuable research relationships and undertake knowledge translation activities to gain partnership opportunities and stay current in evaluation best practices.
- Master's degree in public health, health administration, or equivalent, plus 5 years of related experience.
- Project management skills with the ability to track multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities for completing quality work while meeting deadlines.
- Advanced critical thinking skills, including a deep understanding of research methodologies and evaluation methods.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues and data.
- Knowledge of the healthcare system and different models of cancer control available across Canada and/or internationally.
