Job Opportunity: Medical Oncologist and Prostate Cancer Researcher

The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University Health Network, is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join their team as the K.Y. Ho Chair in Prostate Cancer Research. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to contribute to the advancement of prostate cancer research and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct clinical and translational research in prostate cancer, with a focus on early-phase therapeutics and clinical genomics.
  • Develop and implement innovative treatment strategies for patients with prostate cancer.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with solid tumor malignancies.
  • Engage in teaching and education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines.
Requirements:
  • MD and FRCPC qualifications and Medical Oncology (or equivalent) specialist designation.
  • Eligibility for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher.
  • Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
