About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at Atlas Ironworks Inc. as a key member of our fabrication department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals to ensure accurate welding processes.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
  • Operate various welding equipment, including arc welding machines, brazing machines, and gas welding machines.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure high-quality products.
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

Our fabrication department operates in a hot, noisy, and odorous environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in these conditions.
