Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Machine Operator to join our team at RAJ STEEL FABRICATION. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
Work Environment

Our production facility is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work. We provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
