About the Role

GardaWorld is seeking a skilled Human Resources Advisor to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide expert advice and support on labour relations, training, and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and interpret collective agreements to ensure compliance and effective labour relations.
  • Advise management on employment and labour relations policies, agreements, and issues.
  • Support senior management on matters related to the Collective Agreement, including seniority, job postings, and disciplines.
  • Conduct research to design and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate grievance resolution meetings and arbitrations.
  • Represent the Company in joint labour committees.
  • Perform related duties to support the day-to-day work of the HR department.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate education with a focus on Labour Relations or Human Resources, or equivalent combination of experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with collective agreements.
  • Strong communication, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Deep understanding of labour relations, policies, and procedures, as well as employment legislation (Federal and Provincial).
  • Strong teamwork and partnership orientation.
