Job Title: Accounting Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at V-TAC Accounting Services Inc./V-TAC Payroll Management.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, posting journal entries, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain financial spreadsheets and reports.
  • Provide financial information and analysis to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Simply Accounting an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be willing to relocate to an urban area.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
