Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Scarborough, ON and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The successful candidate will provide assessments, consultations, and speech therapy to clients in their homes, scheduling hours of work based on client convenience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments, including speech, language, and cognitive communication evaluations
  • Develop treatment plans tailored to individual client needs
  • Supervise Communicative Disorders Assistants providing therapy
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients of various ages, including children, adults, and rehabilitation patients
  • Collaborate with other Speech Language Pathologists and interdisciplinary practitioners
  • Provide families with resources, information, and home programs
  • Assist with parent and client workshops
  • Participate in continuing education classes and workshops to remain current

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Registration in the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
  • Experience with developmental disorders an asset
  • Superior interpersonal skills, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and a willingness to travel
  • Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills
