We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Therapist who is passionate about supporting children and can provide services within the School-Based Rehabilitation Services (SBRS). We offer full-time and part-time positions in a hybrid work model based at our various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver care to children with rehabilitation needs within our School-based Rehabilitation Program, while fostering relationships among families, educational institutions, and local healthcare systems. Collaborate to provide patient care through both virtual consultations and in-person visits. Provide services that include short-term consultations, training, and interventions for specific rehabilitation requirements. Assess and treat pediatric clients with diverse needs, including but not limited to: speech sound delays and disorders, motor speech difficulties, stuttering, and voice disorders. Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Work well within a team while also being dependable when working independently. Supervise and guide Communication Disorders Assistants (CDA) as clinically appropriate.

Required Skills:

Energetic and enthusiastic, with a love for working in a collaborative and dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and policies applicable to practice. Knowledge of reflective practice principles. Employ a systematic approach to decision-making during the development, implementation, and evaluation of client care. Safety-focused and accountable. Highly organized, with the capability to manage conflicting priorities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Current registration as a Speech-Language Therapist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario. Valid G2/G driving license and access to a reliable insured vehicle. Proficiency in French is considered an asset.
