MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Duty MRI Technologist to join our team at Shared Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic MRI scans in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic MRI scans on patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring compliance with professional and provincial guidelines.
- Ensure quality assurance programs are in place and maintained, adhering to accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
- Graduate of an approved MRI training program.
- Successful completion of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technology registration examinations (CAMRT).
- Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.) within three months of hire.
- Current BCLS within the past 12 months or BCLS Instructor Certificate.
- Previous related experience in MRI.
- Experience with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Picture Archiving Systems (PACS).
