Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Duty MRI Technologist to join our team at Shared Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic MRI scans in accordance with established procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic MRI scans on patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to professional and provincial guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and maintain standards set by Accreditation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved MRI training program.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technology registration examinations (CAMRT).
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.) within three months of hire.
  • Current BCLS within the past 12 months or BCLS Instructor Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous related experience in MRI.
  • Experience with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Picture Archiving Systems (PACS).
