About the Role

Canna Cabana is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our retail store operations and ensuring a distinctive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Associate Support:
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Coach and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and provide a positive shopping experience.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Sales and Customer Service:
    • Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales promotions and incentives.
    • Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Daily Store Operations:
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Manage inventory levels, sales, and compliance audits.
    • Perform daily opening and closing procedures, including security, reporting, and cash management.
    • Develop and implement procedures to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Requirements:
    • Minimum 5-6 years of work experience in the retail industry.
    • Minimum 3 years of work experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment.
    • Experience working in a unionized environment.
    • Proven excellent customer service skills.
    • Management experience preferred.
    • Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff.
    • Skills to monitor and assess staff performance.
    • Basic office administration skills.
    • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
    • Highly effective teamwork skills.
    • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
    • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
    • Politically and culturally sensitive.
    • Able to plan and organize work effectively and ensure its completion.
    • Well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
    • Ability to learn and adapt to sales software quickly.
    • Must be available for shift work any time according to business needs, Monday to Sunday.
    • Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends and different locations.
