Senior Capital Markets Java Developer Opportunity

Open Systems Technologies is seeking a skilled Senior Capital Markets Java Developer to join our team. This is a contract Hybrid role in Mississauga, with a 3-day hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performance trading solutions using Java technologies.
  • Work in a fast-paced Capital Markets Electronic and Algorithmic Trading environment.
  • Design and implement resilient trading systems using industry-standard low-latency Java techniques.
  • Collaborate with senior Quants, Traders, and Technology Managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop expertise in messaging technologies, Microservices, and APIs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Java and related technologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on development experience in Java technologies.
  • Experience working with senior Quants, Traders, and Technology Managers.
  • Strong expertise in messaging technologies, Microservices, and APIs.
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
