Key Responsibilities

As a Client Associate, you will collaborate closely with Investment Advisors at CIBC Wood Gundy, assisting in portfolio management and business development. Your role will involve direct engagement with high net worth clients to provide support, identify business opportunities, and enhance the overall client experience.

We provide an optimal work environment to help you thrive in your position. This role requires full-time on-site presence from Monday to Friday.

Success Factors
  • Client Engagement: Prioritize each client interaction, connecting on a personal level to ensure meaningful experiences. Anticipate client needs and communicate effectively with your team to build trust and strengthen relationships.
  • Business Development: Actively seek out business opportunities for your team. Collaborate with Investment Advisors to support business initiatives and assist in developing investment strategies tailored to client profiles, objectives, and risk tolerance.
  • Relationship Building: Enhance CIBC's brand presence in the community by participating in local events and marketing activities. Expand your network to foster lasting connections that may lead to future opportunities.
Qualifications
  • You possess relevant certifications, including the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct & Practice Handbook (CPH), and Investment Representative (IR) licensing. Registered Representative (RR) licensing is a plus. Experience in the Financial Services or Brokerage industry, along with familiarity with various quotation tools, is essential.
