About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at YAMATO LANDSCAPING INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and mentor a team of landscape technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team skills.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Inspect and monitor work in progress to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.
    • Identify and address any quality control issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Management
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of company equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
    • Develop and implement equipment replacement and upgrade strategies to minimize downtime and costs.
  • Client Communication and Relationship Building
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
    • Communicate project progress, timelines, and budgets to clients, ensuring transparency and trust.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
    • Work at heights and in physically demanding environments.
    • Manual dexterity and attention to detail required.
  • Personal Qualities and Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
