About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Contessa Landscaping Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and construction of outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement plans to ensure the upkeep of our outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, and other landscaping features.
  • Organize and Direct Construction Projects: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other outdoor features, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.
  • Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Manage and coordinate the work of our landscape construction team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all equipment is in good working order, and perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
  • Requisition and Order Materials: Source and procure materials and supplies necessary for projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to team members to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise Nursery and Greenhouse Workers: Oversee the work of our nursery and greenhouse staff, ensuring they are meeting the required standards.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 35-40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
