Nurse Care Specialist

RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Coordinate Care Services: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Manage Medications and Supplies: Safely administer medications, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate Effectively: Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals through clear and compassionate communication.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, regulations, and industry advancements.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes.
- Clearances: Vulnerable Sector Police Check, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Clear Criminal Record check.
