Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Westford Health Nursing Care Inc. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and Assess Patient Care: Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy, and provide nursing services within defined scope of practice to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
- Provide Education and Support: Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families, and take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
- Meet Certification and Licensure Requirements: Ensure eligibility for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work, and maintain current CPR and First Aid Certificates.
- Education and Experience: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, and experience an asset.
- Area of Specialization: Geriatrics.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check and Tuberculosis test.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, manual dexterity, combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
