Adecco Canada is seeking a Support Worker to join our team in Gold River, BC. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children in a daycare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing programs that are culturally sensitive and promote healthy development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children.
  • Ensure the health and well-being of the children at all times.
  • Guide and support children's activities throughout the day.
  • Assist with parent questions and concerns, referring them to the Daycare Supervisor as needed.
  • Document observations and complete reports as required.
  • Collaborate with the daycare team to develop and implement program improvements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe daycare environment.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Certified ECEA (Early Childhood Educator Assistant) or currently enrolled in the ECE program.
  • Familiarity with BC Child Care Licensing Regulations.
  • Strong connections to the children and ability to create engaging activities.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in team settings.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.
  • Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude.
  • RCMP clearance and Vulnerable Sector check.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
