About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Maximum Home Support Services Inc. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our clients.
  • Personal Care: Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to support our clients' independence and dignity.
  • Work Setting: Work in various locations, including clients' homes, to provide flexible and convenient support services.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a Certificate of Conduct and a First Aid Certificate to ensure our clients' safety and well-being.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct a criminal record check and obtain a vulnerable sector check to ensure our clients' safety and security.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and perform repetitive tasks, to support our clients' needs.
  • Weight Handling: Lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) to perform tasks and support our clients' mobility.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate punctuality, client focus, dependability, and reliability to provide high-quality care and support services.
  • Experience: Possess experience in a related field, as an asset, to provide quality care and support services.
What We Offer
  • Flexible Scheduling: Work 2 to 40 hours per week, depending on our clients' needs, to provide flexible and convenient support services.
  • Language of Work: Work in English to support our clients' communication needs.
