Primary Care Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Team Lead to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Primary Care department, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our interdisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the Primary Care team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Northern Health Authority's standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and services.
- Baccalaureate degree in a social or behavioral science field relevant to the position.
- Three to five years of recent related experience, including experience in individual, family, and group modalities of practice in the clinical specialty of the assigned area, and recent experience in a leadership capacity.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
