An exceptional opportunity has arisen to become a vital part of a premier investment banking team specializing in the Energy sector at BMO Capital Markets. We seek motivated professionals with extensive industry knowledge, a collaborative mindset, and a robust understanding of financial solutions to facilitate client engagement and transaction management throughout the Energy value chain.

  • Functions as an integral member of the transaction team to enhance sector engagement and profitability.
  • Drives initiatives for cross-selling to elevate client positioning.
  • Supervises the development of presentation materials and financial analyses for clients.
  • Offers strategic insights on industry trends and market dynamics to clients.
  • Fosters strong client relationships and aligns offerings with client requirements.
  • Partners with product specialists to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Conducts thorough due diligence and maintains client relationship oversight.
  • Acts as a proactive change agent to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Evaluates risks and compliance in decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of pertinent experience with a degree in finance, economics, or accounting.
  • MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional experience in financial services.
  • Exhibits advanced skills in deal execution and market acumen.
  • Strong capabilities in communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and influence.
