This division provides underwriting of equity and debt capital, as well as strategic advisory services, to leading corporations, institutions, and governments worldwide.

Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

The Global Investment Banking division is looking for a talented Analyst to join its Global Energy Investment Banking Team. This team provides corporate finance and advisory services to leading clients in the global energy and energy transition sectors. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop a broad financial skillset and gain exposure to an evolving industry that must meet society's growing demand for energy while achieving a net zero future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory assignments
  • Develop and hone an analytical skillset through real-world transaction experience
  • Gain exposure and insight into the global capital markets
  • Work directly with senior levels of Canada's largest and fastest-growing companies
  • Build a long-term career in Investment Banking

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be graduating from their undergraduate programs in either December 2024 or Spring 2025
  • Desire to learn and eagerness to make a meaningful contribution to the team environment
  • Track record of outstanding academic achievement
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Diversity of extracurricular activities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interest in the Energy Industry
