About the Role

Freshii is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient workflow
    • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, providing guidance and support as needed
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure timely ordering
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Quality Control and Reporting
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics
  • Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
    • Work a regular 40-hour week with occasional overtime as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or related role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
