About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Government of Northwest Territories. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work effectively with members of an interdisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive patient care.
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Patient Assessment and Care
    • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans to address patients' physical and mental health needs.
  • Certifications and Licensure
    • Hold current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the province/territory of work.
  • Security and Safety
    • Undergo a criminal record check prior to commencement of employment.
  • Screening Questions
    • Be legally able to work in Canada.
    • Be willing to relocate for this position.
    • Hold the required certifications for this role.
