About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Bellvue Manor. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Monitor food costs, inventory, and quality control to ensure optimal kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and cooking techniques to enhance the culinary experience.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute special events and banquets.
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
