Job Title: Nephrologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nephrologist to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children. As a Nephrologist, you will be responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases and disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods
  • Prepare research papers for publication and presentation
  • Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
  • Act as consultants to other physicians
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
Requirements:
  • Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry
  • 5 years or more of experience in nephrology
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colours
