Drywall Installation Supervisor Job Description

NBS STEEL FRAMING & DRYWALL LTD. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Supervisor to oversee the installation of drywall in our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule drywall installation activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Oversee the training and development of drywall installation apprentices to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Recruit and hire skilled drywall installers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure drywall installers have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Set up and maintain drywall installation equipment and tools.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for drywall installation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Recommend personnel actions to management.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand drywall installation requirements.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
