Culinary Services Associate II

Interior Health Authority is in search of a Casual Food Service Worker II to become a part of our dedicated team. The ideal candidate should demonstrate reliability and possess a flexible schedule to accommodate a rotating work pattern, which may include weekends and holidays as necessary.
The casual shifts for this role encompass the following hours:
- 10:48 to 18:30
What Will Your Responsibilities Include?
As a collaborative team member, you will engage in various tasks within a Food Service Operation, including but not limited to: portioning and serving meals and beverages in a dining area or cafeteria; setting tables and trays with necessary items such as condiments, utensils, and napkins; collecting and unloading food service carts; washing and peeling fruits and vegetables; preparing items like meat, fish, or poultry for cooking processes including grinding, flouring, and breading; measuring and weighing ingredients for your designated food preparation area; preparing beverages and food items such as sandwich fillings, nourishments, and therapeutic diet items including tube feedings and milkshakes; washing dishes and utensils; performing cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitizing countertops and tables; handling clerical duties like answering phones, managing diet sheets via computer, and documenting information on menu cards; receiving supplies and verifying goods against invoices; and monitoring and recording the temperature of hot foods at the point of service.
