Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Casual Food Service Worker II to join our team. As a key member of our food service operation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of duties within a food service operation, including portioning and serving meals and beverages, setting tables and trays, and collecting and unloading food service wagons.
- Prepare and cook food items, including meat, fish, or poultry, and beverages, such as milkshakes and tube feedings.
- Wash and peel vegetables and fruit, and perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and washing floors, and cleaning counter tops and tables.
- Perform clerical duties, such as answering the telephone, running diet sheets off the computer, and writing information on menu cards.
- Receive and check supplies, and take and record temperature of hot foods at point of service.
Requirements:
- Valid Food Safe Certificate.
- Reliable and flexible schedule to work a rotating schedule, including some weekends and holidays as required.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide exceptional customer service.
