Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and highly collaborative individual who is keen on assisting our team and clients at MSL. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys contributing to various tasks to ensure the success of our clients and teams. Below are some of the exciting responsibilities you will undertake:

Public Relations and Social Media:

  • Assisting in the creation and execution of PR and social media communication strategies to achieve client goals, including outreach to magazines, bloggers, online publications, newspapers, television, and radio.
  • Composing and refining media materials such as editorial content, media advisories, press releases, fact sheets, and briefing documents. Strong writing abilities are essential.
  • Cultivating relationships with media contacts and managing media databases.
  • Engaging in written and verbal communication with media representatives.
  • Supporting influencer campaign management, which includes researching influencers, providing insights, metrics, and potential outcomes, as well as fostering relationships with them.
  • Employing strategic thinking to aid in the development of innovative campaigns; being a creative problem solver.
  • Conducting social media monitoring and supporting research initiatives.
  • Offering timely updates to management regarding progress towards objectives.
  • Assisting with event logistics as required.
  • Demonstrating the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Keeping abreast of industry and brand best practices for PR and social media.

Administrative Support:

  • Assisting the PR and social media team with media deliveries, errands, and courier services.
  • Helping maintain MSL's common areas in a tidy and client-ready state (e.g., clearing whiteboards before and after meetings).
  • Managing mail and courier services for delivery and pickup, including signing for packages and maintaining tracking logs.
  • Performing various administrative tasks to support the MSL team and partners as needed.

  • A post-graduate diploma, degree, or certificate in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, a dynamic team player, excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest is a significant advantage.
