About the Job

The aim of Global Banking Technology & Operations (GBTO) Canada is to deliver day-to-day services to Société Générale investment and corporate bank units and their clients to accelerate their transformation.

GBTO differentiates itself from competitors with the pace of the agile transformation delivered, spreading the technology and data culture, shortening the decision-making process, and adopting a true industrial approach, leveraging on different teams either transversal or aligned to the different sub business units.

This is a central and dynamic position as you will provide technical and functional support for the applications that are used by trading and risk analysts based in New York.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and functional support for applications used by trading and risk analysts
  • Work closely with the Dev team to provide the best services to our traders and help avoid or fix major incidents in production
  • Perform morning and evening checks to ensure Production is stable before financial markets open
  • Step up and take technology expertise to the next level by dedicating some time to automation using Elasticsearch/Kibana, Scripting, Bots, Autosys, etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an application support analyst
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent job experience
  • Track record of delivering continual improvements & automations
  • Basic level of coding ability, including the ability to write an SQL query and pass a basic coding game
  • Languages: French and English
