About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at CURRIZZA RESTAURANTS INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring a positive dining experience and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, including budget and cost estimates, to support informed business decisions.
  • Food Order Management: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food orders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week.
Work Environment

Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires standing for extended periods and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
