Position Overview

We are seeking a Full-Time Rehabilitation Support Specialist to assist adults with brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans for individuals with brain injuries in both home and community settings.
  • Assist clients in daily living activities, enhancing cognitive skills, and facilitating community engagement.
  • Provide flexible support services during standard business hours.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs and incident reports.
  • Engage in ongoing training and adhere to established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Human or Social Services or a Rehabilitation Assistant diploma is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the Human Services sector, particularly with individuals with acquired brain injuries.
  • Current certifications in CPR and First Aid are advantageous.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
  • Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently.
  • Familiarity with local community resources and social services.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
