About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Thunder Transport Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Accurate Records

Ensure that all work records and logs are up-to-date and accurate, providing a clear picture of our operations.

Communicate Effectively

Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems, ensuring that our drivers are aware of any potential issues that may impact their routes.

Coordinate Dispatch

Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations, ensuring that our team is equipped to handle any unexpected challenges.

Follow-up on Issues

Follow-up on issues with work orders, ensuring that any problems are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Track Shipments

Keep track of shipments, ensuring that our customers receive their goods on time and in good condition.

Knowledge of Regulations

Have a strong knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations, ensuring that our operations are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees

Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees, promoting a culture of inclusion and respect.

Support for Indigenous People

Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees, creating a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers and promoting a culture of understanding and respect.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

Language

Work in English, with opportunities to develop your language skills and work with a diverse team.

Hours

Work 30 to 40 hours per week, with a focus on flexibility and work-life balance.
