Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at ARE Logistics Inc. as a Logistics Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, adhering to company protocols and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping and handling procedures.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Driver Logbook: Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logbook records.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks with ease and efficiency.
  • Sitting: Spend extended periods sitting while driving and performing tasks.
