Job Summary: As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product that meets customer needs and business objectives. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and cross-functional teams to translate business and product requirements into clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Ownership: You will be responsible for the product ownership of a specific domain or product, working closely with the product manager and stakeholders to understand the high-level product requirements.
  2. User Stories & Analysis: You will collaborate with the product manager and stakeholders to understand the high-level product requirements, translating them into clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria for the UX & development team.
  3. User Experience & Design Collaboration: You will collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the development of the designs align with scope and requirements.
  4. Backlog Management: You will manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals & customer needs.
  5. Release Planning: You will work closely with the development team to plan and prioritize releases.
  6. Risk Management & Issue Resolution: You will identify potential risks, dependencies, and challenges related to product development and delivery.
  7. Acceptance Testing & Quality Assurance: You will review and accept developed user stories and features, ensuring they meet the defined acceptance criteria and quality standards.
  8. Communication & Reporting: You will provide regular updates on product progress, risks, and issues.
  9. Process Improvement & Documentation: You will support the development and enhancement of new processes and knowledge base articles aimed at standardizing Product Management practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, technology, hospitality, or travel management).
  • Proven track record in product ownership or business analyst role, preferably within the travel tech or hospitality industry.
  • Additional certifications or training in travel technology or product management are advantageous.
  • You are a problem solver with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Master at writing user stories.
  • Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to other members of the team, both technical and non-technical.
  • Highly functional in a fast-paced environment dedicated to continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
